Sculptural columns of light are realized in a warm satin nickel. Designed to exist in a state of anticipatory suspension, the chain-like form descend from the ceiling and hover low to the floor.
Hexagonal slices are offset and overlapped, reflecting light onto its counterpart while obscuring the light source. These segments of light are connected by open links creating spaciousness through pattern. Maillage illustrates a portion of a larger custom installation and is offered in a variety of finishes and colors. A custom installation may be viewed at Love House gallery.
Maillage in French refers to an arrangement of interconnected elements that create a structure, emphasizing the way in which these components connect to form a cohesive whole.
